Sony won everyone's trust because they finished strong with the PS3. They slashed production costs and passed them onto the consumer immediately and continually put out compelling games.

With regard to PS+, nobody "loves" them for putting multiplayer behind a paywall. That was purely a business decision on their part seeing that XBL can generate millions. What they did, however, was give you a value proposition in the form of free games which essentially makes PS+ pay for itself. Do I like that did that? No, but if I'm gonna have to pay to play online, at least I'm getting something out of it. But they didn't do this because "they were listening to consumers" and "being generous" and "changing for the better". They did it to make money. But I, and I think other PS fans as well, acknowledge that. YOU on the other hand are crying wolf "oh woe is me, nobody is nice to MS. They're always the bad guy" as if this Kinect-less move had YOU in mind. Sorry, it doesn't.

Exactly. There is quite literally no excuse for the 360 to not get the same treatment at the PS3, especially considering the finacials of the two companies.
