Being objective...

One can be removed and therefore doesn't seal its consoles fate in the longer term, the other cant and therefore does seal its consoles fate in the longer term. Thus the gamepad legacy is far, far worse as its continued inclusion renders the WiiU a probable failure forever. The One can continue without (or with for those that still want it)

But the poll here will have an obvious conclusion...

Being truly objective...

The Kinect 2.0 is worse for many subtle reasons.

Both of them affected the development of their systems.

Both were mandatory.

Both drove up the price of their respective systems.

However, Nintendo stopped competing with the hardcore console market with the Wii.

All thing kept the same, the Wii U might have sold a million more without the tablet luckily. But it would still be utterly destroyed by the XB1 and PS4.

Converesly, X1 doesn't have this problem.

The Wii U was already the cheapest and practically every wii u game utilizes the tablet, while the X1 was the most expensive and only 2 games uses Kinect.

Lastly, MS invested in the Kinect 2.0, but did not invest the same amount of effort into its utilizations or even its language translations which weren't ready by launch.

Worst of all, the Kinect 2.0's localization issues slowed its release considerably.
