It will help for sure, it can't make the situation any worse and the hardware bundle is a decent one, but yeah I think some Nintendo loyalists are overstating its impact. I do expect a good noticeable bump for the first 2-3 weeks after launch, but then I suspect Wii U sales will sink back to a better but still poor baseline as we get into the second half of July.
The issue really isn't the initial boost ... I'm sure there will be a very nice bump for the Wii U, especially as its current baseline is so low, the question is how long that honeymoon period lasts before reality sets back in.
