So, can DKCTF outsell Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, the lowest Metroid Prime game?

Unfortunately I think this game is going to be a victim of the Wii U's market failure. Pikmin 3 as well.

I suspect Nintendo will port DKC: TF to the next Nintendo handheld in a few years though (hopefully they can improve the load times on the port) so maybe it can add an extra 500k+ in sales that way.
