TLOU PS4/PS3 Difference Is Like Bluray/DVD

So, DVD's are 800x600, and over four times lower in pixel count than full HD. 720p, which is TLoU's native resolution, is still about half of full 1080p, are they saying that the remake will sport about 4.1 million pixels (going by the Blu-ray vs DVD analogy)? Sounds... fishy...
