Your seemingly "positive" write-up ended on some very sour notes. DLC? Mario Kart 7+? Like Capcom?

What's happening? That certainly won't expand the market.

I was mostly spewing ideas. And I feel that DLC is a viable path provided you use Capcom as a guide of what NOT to do.

Hell, if Nintendo's recent DLC offerings are anything to go by, they already know how to do it properly. Mario Golf, for example, offered $15 of DLC, but this DLC basically added 50% more content to the asking price of $30.

If the Mario Kart team spent the next few months making another two cups for Mario Kart 7, added four more characters, and offered the new content either as $10 of DLC or as part of a new $35/$40 retail product, I'd hardly be upset.

This won't expand the market, but done wisely, it won't lead to a contraction either.
