I think it's plausible MS can win US/UK, MS can certainly do things like subsidize bundles ON TOP of the now-equal price.
(which will be more globally and transparently advertised vs. the less-than-successful Titanfull bundles)
I wouldn't actually predict that myself, but it is not wholely outside of comprehension.
Obviously with people emotionally invested
(and with success of a platform impacting it's later support in titles, there is material reason to want the platform to do well)
that is one more reason to justify such comments, and a blatantly obvious one that you see in at least half the threads here.
