That may be true... But this is Harmonix. They were a dedicated Kinect developer even before the thing launched on 360.
Kinect One will continue to sell for another 6-10 Years, so it will end up with a sizable userbase providing support is available for it. I wouldnt be surprised to see it matching Kinect 360 in the long term... Its got a long way to go though!
