I think it's too early to tell, for one thing. But I'm not as optimistic on the Donkey Kong franchise as many here. Certainly Retro probably (I haven't played it yet) did another great job with the franchise...but let's be honest. We've come to expect greatness from the studio. Mind blowing stuff, or as we fans like to call it: Metroid Prime. There are few games that have immersed us so deep and authentically in a game's setting.
And then they give us Donkey Kong...twice!

C'mon, Retro...you've got the talent, artistic vision, and backing...it's time to step up and deliver us again into Shangrila.
Fingers crossed for E3. Fingers crossed for another Metroid installment that will earn its place alongside Metroid Prime and Super Metroid.
But do count on Donkey Long to have legs...particularly this Holiday season and particularly when the price drops to $39.99, which I think it will.
