| hated_individual said: Mario Kart 8 is 5GB large... Most people have 300KB. It would take rougly 5 hours at that download speed and if you have 500KBps then it would be like 2 hours so if you can go and buy mario kart go home and insert game disc into Wii U under 20 hours at best then I doubt that anyone will be able digitally beat you. I expect meltdowns of MK servers... |
At ANY speed which is over 1 MBit YOU will spare time by not changing discs. But ONLY if you're not sitting in front of your TV and waiting for the download. What a luck downloads "just work" without attention
The comfort for having those "snack" games istantly available even while playing anothers big title discs can't be overstatet. Thats why I'm so happy with Wii Sports Club. And Mario Kart 8 is the same kind of drug...
Despite that I can't wait to start playing Mario Kart 8 too. I will buy the eShop version. And I'm pretty confident that Nintendo is able to handle any kind of load and fill my V-DSL pipe with those delicous bits.
