A week ago, EA themselves released a statement that Titanfall sold roughly 1 million units in the first 3 weeks of its launch in USA . Although this might seem like a good number, it is very disappointing considering the hype and marketing moolahs spent on Titanfall. It had every opportunity to become a monster franchise, and it seems EA have finally listened to the players. We can confirm that a Titanfall game is in the works for PS4. We just don't know at this moment whether it would be a rehashed 1080p version of the first game or the second iteration of the game. Titanfall, according to our estimates, can only reach a number beyond or close to 5 million if it is ever released on PS4/PS3 .Nevertheless, we wish the ip all the success, and apologize to SONY for this massive leak destined for impending E3 pandemonium."

That thing they can "confirm" was posted hours before by tidux on twitter, I even posted the tweets in our playstation nation thread before this article went up, but they don't even try to source this piece of information.
And look at the title of the article about Titanfall "merely" selling 2 million:
"Titanfall flops on Xbox 360 and "fades" away on Xbox One : The dangers of supporting dead horses"
Rabid fanboys seems about right.
