I never said it was a succesful WOW clone, since pretty much every mmo that has tried to be an WOW has failed.
Thus the Genre is the most stagnant in the whole of the gaming industry.
Cause WOW being the pinnacle of the Genre is evident that nothing has really changed.
And normally I am opponent of innovation as opposed to improvement/perfection but the fact that WOW is still the dominant MMO, means that it does what it does best. And you yourself even said that. In this scenario, the need for innovation is dire. The only "new" thing I got from playing the mmo was the free movementI actually saw this in a FTP though I played it a while back. Nothing in this game save for the ESO world is new or even done relatively well.
