They better had! Seriously, if they ditched Wii U this, or even the following year, a good amount of 'hardcore Nintendo fans' would be gone for sure.
They know they screwed up, they know that Wii U only generates losses (up until now), but the stupidest thing to do right now would be to introduce new hardware.
