Gaming is not dead.
It's a Niche Market.
It's been brought closer to the mainsteam due to the past 2 generations and the advent of mobile.
However, as a result of mobile, console gaming userbase has been appearing to shrink.
Worry not, the casuals (non-hobbyists) are simply moving on to alternative platforms.
