They put out adverts for the system (i.e. the hunting adverts; the Final Fantasy X HD crying advert).

They advertised the price cut and the remodel (there was loads of stuff going around at the time of the price cut; and there was that penguin ad during the price cut).

They hold events for the system, i.e. the hunting game tournament that had Soul Sacrifice/PSO2/Toukiden/Raganrok Odyssey/Dragon's Crown.

They developed a speight of original titles for it (i.e. Soul Sacrifice/Freedom Wars/Oreshika).

They've clearly courted third party devs to port games across of their own accord rather than having to do it themselves (i.e. any of Tecmo's titles; loads of stuff from Namco etc.)

They gave it a big stage presence at TGS and announced multiple relevant titles for it (i.e. Phantasy Star Nova; Oreshika)

Regardless of your views of the reasons for third party support, I think it's categorically wrong to say that SCEJ haven't done anything for the system.  And even more wrong to say that what they're doing is on par with SCEA and SCEE.  It's much, much more.  SCEA have barely even announced that the slim is releasing, let alone advertised it.  They've just released 3 games for Vita and all 3 of them were ports.

Well I was wrong on saying that SCEJ didn't do much, but I never said that they do as little as the other two. I was trying to say that SCEJ didn't really do that much, but I guess I was sorta wrong. I don't think porting is really a big advantage, that does really hover from person to person

In terms of 1st party content I don't really know what they have in store except for FW, SSD earlier this year and nothing else. I don't know if tournaments really matter all that much in the end when it comes to having healthy support/life.
