Been on the market 7 months and has sold 2.2 million, how many Wiiu has sold in the past 7 months? i guess you'll freely say nobody wants the WiiU too?

Nobody buys the Vita because of its lacking games library, 2ds doesnt sell as well as the 3ds because rather than make it a sleek DS style design they made it in to an awkward, easy to scratch-screen cheese wedge.

If you think people still buy 3ds en-masse because of the 3D functionality, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Then why come recent 3D movies like "Gravity" get up to 80% of their sales from 3D?

Because it was marketed heavilly in the Cinema's as an experience  best seen in 3D and because in most stores the ultraviolet boxed version, "Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + DVD + UltraViolet" was priced the same as the standard blu-ray/dvd version or only slightly higher.

But I have to ask, what has a 3D film, a film that isn't actually available on the 3DS, got to do with what gamers buy a handheld console for?, you're clutching at straws now, and it's kinda sad.

That still doesn't explain other new 3D movies, like:

I, Frankenstein

300: Rise of an Empire

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

They get the majority of their sales from 3D. (I'm talking about more tickets for 3D then 2D)

And the Wii U & Vita are 2D, so yes.
