breaking news, "live" shows are the exact same thing as pre-recorded shows, millions rejoice at the realization that they no longer need to attend: sports events, racing, band performances and more, because the tv coverage of the highlights, is the "exact same thing"

p.s. during live presentations its made abundantly clear from the audience, directly to the presenter, what portions of the reveals are appreciated, and disliked, putting out a pre-recorded video completely lacks that layer of response, and distances the company from both the media and the general public tuning in on a live stream to comment.
It's really that simple.
