To be fair, even on a console controller the difference between 30fps and 60fps is palpable.

The arguments broken either way, too many people care about framerate only when it benefits them, or is a detriment to others, and in the end thats all this boils down to.

I don't see anything broken about the argument that 60fps trumps 30fps for a racing game. As for people caring only when it benefits them, meh, what else is new?
