I think Nintendo gets more attention BECAUSE they have no press conference @E3

I get it, I really do. Some gamers treat E3 like Christmas and they prefer their Christmas gift under a tree(the tree being E3...a pun, get it?) We still get a gift, but some gamers want there to be the whole enchilada. You know what I'm talking about, the tinsels, the lights, the angel or star above the tree, the fake foam snow that causes them to be nauseous. I do understand. But please, understand as well that you still get the gift of E3 with reveals, with the shocking new announcements, if you're actually there you'll get to experience the games, the Reggie, the Miyamoto, the trailers, the everything you want from an E3 except for the giant stage.

I just think some people are hypnotized by the grandeur of it all. You know how some people can't do without the facepaint at a Super Bowl. I mean, what is really taken out of the Event except for maybe the live reactions, the quiet resonance of an unimpressed audience, the technical difficulties, and most of all the gooey awkward cheesy, stinky cheesyness of participants on the stage.

People are made to believe that what makes an E3 event, not just a stage event, good is a stage presence. No, that is the icing of the event. I try to be a purest and take E3 for what it is, a sharing of new content for the future, a day when companies share what they have in store.

Some of you think that this is a red flag that says Nintendo is not one of the big boys anymore. What? Okay, to be fair, I understand that giving a conference is the norm, but that's just it, its the norm. To take this as Nintendo's bow out to the event as waving a white flag is just pure speculation that does nobody any good. When there is hate for this, it's the norm being bent to a different model. There are a lot of you that see it this way, but it's not hurtful to you or the industry, its simply another way to do it minus all that cheese. Nintendo this gets its message out there and I doubt Nintendo is not going to have a booth at E3. What the hell is everyone bitching about?
