I always knew consoles were more profitable than PC but 43% vs 9% is more than I expected.

I honestly am not surprised by this, I saw a study once that showed that the majority of games on steam are bought at a huge discount. PC gamers don't like to admit it but the truth of the matter is that the "Masterrace" couldn't even remotely support the AAA industry on its own.
