and this whole point is because you and other keep saying: is _____ their big holiday game? always using singular as if nintendo will only release one big game. and worse, believing it's a game announced last year and that they won't announce anything else.

2013, ok. although DKC TF was planned for 2013 at first.

2012. it was the console launch and we can argue that nintendo land was another big title.

2011. wii was already out of suport from nintendo and they still got kirby late october.

I could go on but generally nintendo gets at least two huge games for october-december. and regardless of historical trends, it is fact that they already have smash and X announced and they always announce one or two games for the holidays of the same year. it could be zelda, metroid, something else...
