No, I personally am against it because I find it stupid to make something like a show exclusive to a console, nobody is going to buy a console for a TV show.
If MS and Sony want to make TV shows, great, but putting them exclusively on a console means a very limited audience will have access to them, which means lower viewer numbers, less advertising money and thus probably a lower budget, now I don't want to act as if budget is the only thing that decides about the quality, but there is definitely some sort of connection between the two. So if I can have the choice between Sony/MS putting their shows exclusively on their console, which if at all will only have an effect on the shows potential quality and will have absolutely no bearing on the console choice for about 99% of the customers, or them just putting these shows on some Network and maybe just have some deal preventing the competition of advertising during them, then I'd always take the latter.
MS and Sonys (since they apparently announced this at E3 as well) idea of making exclusive shows for their consoles is just stupid and unnecessary in my opinion.
