The tech specs of the Wii U, and the Wii before it nessistated that essentially games be made espeically before it, or have specially ported versions. (Or when developers didn't care, just last gen games more or less.)
It worked with the Wii, because the Wii-mote was great. It isn't working with the Wii U, because the pad doesn't really do anything revolutionary like the Wii mote did. As such, I don't think they'll gamble soley on the innovation game again. Instead they will release something comparble to Sony and Microsoft techically next generation. Since nintendo is conservative, I wouldn't be shocked if they launched last to save costs. |
