Which is why I find the comparison you chose unimpressive, but I acknowledge it's trending ahead. All things being equal, of course sales from months 8-12 will be lower than sales from 3-7. That's not much of an accomplishment. That it's trending ahead, and will likely continued to do so, is worth noting.

So I agree with the general idea of this thread, but the statistics you chose to represent it are less impressive than the reality.

Wait hold on... BW still had yet to see a full holiday season? Im confused on this. BW has been out longer. Year 2 sales have nothing to do with that though?

Besides thread was just to show how much its improving from gen to gen (this case Europe). Less than 400k realistically!

The problem is that, for B/W, year 2 sales started 8 months after release. For X/Y, it was less than 3. It's not a very good comparison.
