Uh no lol. Have you been paying attention to anything I've been saying!? A game's own merits is the only factor that objectively determines how good or not it is! Not it's sales, not how revolutionary it is, not other games, only the game in question itself! Whether or not you personally like a game is purely subjective and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with how good or bad it is. People can like a good game and dislike a bad game, just they can also like a bad game and dislike a good one!

I disagree. Say you have a super realistic, high budget title about watching paint dry. Is that a better game then say Pokemon Blue/Red?

For something like Wii Sports, being a type of game which changed the way video games were developed since is a merit. You know Wii Sports is an amazing games when numerous clones released afterwards to bask in its reflected success, and when the direction of gaming has changed forever because of it (e.g. Kinect).

NintendoLand never changed the way people played games. It's a party game yes, but nothing special. Just like how Mario Party 9 might be the best Mario Party since MP2, it doesn't matter it didn't change the formula or how people play party games.
