Why ?

Their pockets were just as deep months ago yet they still launched at 100 more then PS4. 

Because they dont want to make a loss from the outset, they wanted to see if they could make it work, weve seen them doing trials with giving away titanfall and temporary price cuts to see how that boosts sales. 

But dont doubt that marketshare is still very important to them, they will cut price to stay competitive, that could mean a new hardware SKU as well. 

Makes sense.

I just dont see then taking that big a hit needed to really achieve near PS4 sales.
