So I was just watching a video from Reviewtechusa. He talked about an old woman with terminal cancer. This woman couldn't do much more than sit or lie down. She got to try the oculus rift. Using the VR headset they showed her the "outside," and let her walk simply using a controller. She got to do something she couldn't have done using her own body.

So it got me thinking. Nintendo has been doing VR before. What if VR is this "quality of life" platform? Think about it. They could offer tours, much like they already have done with the Wii U using the gamepad to look around, they showed us with google street view as well that we can experience the world in 360º using technology now. The market is there. Not only could it be used for those incapable of walking outside, but it could be used for "tourism" as well, not everyone have the money to visit the fjords of Norway forexample. This could be a cheap fix for that.

Now for the questions: Is this crazy? Yes. Did you see it here first? Yes you did! :D

What's your take on my "predictions?"
