Just so we are clear here the following games are indie:
Towerfall Ascension, Contrast, TKA, Doki-Doki Universe, Soundshapes, Flower, Journey, Super Hot,etc...
The following are AA:
Resogun, Killer Instinct, Lococycle, Strider(AA1/2), Trials Fusion, Minecraft...
The Following are AAA:
Infamouse, Halo, The Last of Us, GTA...
The differences are subtle but the ratings/qualifications basically describe the investment and production value of the game, e.g. Minecraft was Indie but now its AA, Notch barely qualifies as an indie developer.
