I often have this issue with Nintendo games in general. Except in the case of direct sequels, which are pretty uncommon, there is so much tinkering with things that were already working. Little actually seems to get refined from iteration to iteration.

Zelda is a prime example. Each game, the framework is often the same, but the technical minutiae is practically built from the ground up. Very little work is done to refine things that could use some extra attention, like the Story (which has standouts, but it ultimately wildly inconsistent in quality), or the combat (which radically changes with each game to accommodate a new control scheme).

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.
