1. I'm not so sure, smart TVs and set top boxes already do what I've seen from consoles.
2. Good point, maybe Nintendo should release some Limited Edition Wii U consoles. A Banana Yellow DK Edition, Gold Zelda, Some sort of MK Edition. Cheap way to do it but it does seem to work.
