Funny, that was the argument of Nintendo fans for the entire 7th gen :)

7th gen Nintendo games like Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Metroid Prime 3, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Xenoblade were technically strong for their hardware, more so than any of their Wii U efforts to date.
