Theory: Metroid Other M's story is largely misunderstood

I thought it was one of the worst games I've ever played. The story was atrocious, the controls sucked, the gameplay was awful, the voice acting was beyond horrendous, only thing that didn't suck was the cutscenes which looked pretty good.
