No but seriously, if you want to get started now, your best bet would be to get a Wii U. You should try out A Link to the Past and if you like its style, you're ready for more 2D action.
I also recommend Wind Waker (HD).If you get the hang of that game and also like/love it, you won't be let down by other entries of the series.
