I felt something was wrong when they said that the Wii u would only support one gamepad at a time. Even if the populace embraced the gamepad (which they didnt not even a little) one per console was always gonna be a hard sell.
I also thought the pad itself would be much better feature wise, closer to a tablet than just a controller with a screen.
