Has 3D finally earned its worth on the 3DS for you?

Both my kids have had it off since the first couple days of owning their 3DSs. Its a wasted feature that just isn't impactful or enjoyable enough to matter. Better to leave off and gain better battery life. Had the 2DS been in the same physical format as the 3DSXL, they would have preferred it.
