Now that you have seen Super Smash 3DS, do you think it will give the system the boost it needs this year?

If you would have asked me a month ago what I thought about the 3DS version, I would have said meh. But now it all sort of changes for me. If they would have somehow incorporated cross system play it would have been a gUarranteed hit.

Everything looks to be in order for a 9 + metacritic, since that is the only system people seem to pay attention to. Unless controls are sloppy or they have some weird mechanics like in Mario Tennis 3DS everything should be good.

I agree with you, the first videos for Super Smash Bros 3DS where completely boring. But the last direct actually got me more excited since the 3DS version is going to have an extra mode!

As for metacritic, you can never be certain. I am pretty sure there will be complaints because of the graphics and the music. Remember that the 3DS version has only 2 tracks per stage. Even so I think it will score decently, we just have to wait and see.
