But the article never mentioned Insiderp in any way, and had a different conclusion than the insiderp article that you just posted.  Seems like reaching to conclude that a news story that says it came from a Sony announcement, bares no mention of insiderp, and doesn't even say the same thing as insiderp was actually using insiderp all along.  I mean sure we didn't have the Sony confirmation, so this could have easily been a site looking for hits, but even if they ended up wrong I still wouldn't say that it had anything to do with insiderp.

Perfectly reasonable assumption based on info at the time... not reaching in anyway.

Hindsight is an exact science thats easy to master.

There are a number of peope, i  thsi thread, 3 or 4 since your last post,  still saying "so insiderp is right then, its legit" but you dont say a word.  I'm not surprised by this, just pointing it out.

You want me to address every single person that has made the same incorrect assumption?  Alright.

HEY EVERYONE WHO IS SAYING THAT INSIDERP WAS RIGHT, THIS WAS IN NO WAY RELATED TO INSIDERP AND THERE WAS NEVER ANY EVIDENCE THAT IT WAS.  THIS IN NO WAY PROVES INSIDERP RIGHT, PARTICULARLY BECAUSE IT WASN'T THE STATEMENT THAT INSIDERP SAID ANYWAY.

I disagree, I think it was reaching because all you did was google anything that said 1million Infamous Sales.  If Insiderp had been the source of the original article then why would they have made a different statement from what Insiderp said?  Insiderp specifically said that Second Son sold that much at launch, these guys said that it was after 9 days.  That's why this can be right and Insiderp is still untrustworthy, but that cuts both ways the reason you can say that is because what these guys were saying isn't the same thing as Insiderp.

There was very good reason not to trust the initial article as there was no corroboration of a statement from Sony and it was a small unheard of site, there was little to no reason to assume that the source was actually insiderp all along.
