I imagine that's the only reason anything is ever late, because it's not ready to be released. That's why people would be angry because they're treating the Wii U as the inferior platform by not keeping it up to pace. The should have allocated more resources to the console version to prevent this from happening. Why is it additional cannalibization though? Surely they need this title to push Wii U sales, not 3DS sales.
It seems Nintendo is really making it to where you need to purchase both versions. Not that it's an inherently bad thing, because in the end they care about the bottom line.
