That ESRAM will probably allow XBOne to narroww the gap at lower native res, where CPU and GPU power are enough and a small but very fast RAM can totally fill the needs of one or more stages of the graphics pipeline. At the highest native resolutions XBOne will have to accept compromises, as using a fast component to fill a stage only partially would nullify any benefit.
Anyhow, forget about adding DDR3 and ESRAM speeds, that's bullshit, it can be done only if they are used for totally independent tasks, and the stages of the graphics pipeline aren't, in a pipeline, if the stages are divided in a way to fully tap benefits and minimise bottlenecks, the overall speed is the weighted average.

tbh the ESRAM is a bottleneck, sure its fast but its only worth while when heaviliy optimized.

For a multiplat, there is no benefit to not make the same optimizations in the PS4, which will still have room to spare.

For an exclusive, sure it could theoretically be faster then PS4, but the degree of optimization it needs is a bottle neck in of its self, the problem with most consoles so far.

Even @ SSj3 with Kinect getting no cpu power and power brick melted, the XB1's ability to be faster won't amount to much of anything when the PS4 can yield better performance overall.

EDIT: I mean look at the math 150 somethin/sec vs 200 somethin/sec (theoretical)

even if it was actual

150/sec for an hour vs 200/sec for 5 minutes

12*(45000) 540000 vs 60000
