If they get a lot of funding I think it could turn out good, but I'll echo the opinions of others on the shown game looking poor.
I also don't like the idea of a water gun. It just looks and feels week. I feel they need to upgrade it to a hydro rocket or something "powerful," or else build upon the idea that the player is supposed to feel week and infective.
