Haven't played MGR, didn't know something similar was in there. Yeesh, I thought I was being original Anyway, so I admit I don't exactly know how it would work, but at a glance I think it's the only way they could retain the feeling of the combat of Skyward Sword. Which I liked, but like I said needs a bit of evolving. Enemies needed to be better at defence as their movement patterns were simple enough to quickly become too predictable, being able to counter-attack and they needed to be a bit more agressive when they decide to fight you. In short, they could use a better AI. I want enemies to use cheap tricks every once in a while A sure obvious downside of using the second stick for combat though would be that you can't use the second stick for simple camera control. Personally I don't think that would be a huge loss, never really needed it in a Zelda game before. |
No in MGR they made you go into a slo mo and stand still rather than giving you free use at any time which kinda sucked. You also had to hold a button down to activate it.
I think if they went with Z-Targeting system and right stick as a free movement sword it would be pretty awesome
