I'm not completely sure, I kinda like the combat, Skyward Sword tried to diversify it through motion and it didn't work out, so I don't mind keeping it confined to the b-button. What I would like, though, is if Nintendo diversified the side-items to make them more useful in combat. The bow and sword are all that are used and almost every enemy can be beaten with them, why not diversify the enemies and make items like the fire rod or ice rod being the only items being able to kill them. I think that would be an excellent step in the right direction for 3D Zelda games.
