You is used the same logic to support 10m by last years end for Wii U... then lowered it to 8. Then lowered it to 6... "wii u will take off with WWHD then mario the DKC." Besides, wii had majority of those games as well and Wii U is traking behind it by a large margin. Guess what, ps4 will get MGSV, RE7, FF15, KH3 and other games the ps3 got. However, unlike the Wii U, ps4 is tracking way ahead of Ps3 even though ps3 launched in holiday period. 

Guess what the ps3 vs Wii gap will settle at in Japan... about 2m. Considering the Wii U being generally unwanted and the ps4 outpacing the ps3 then a 2m swing is easily accomplishable. 

Heres a hint for your first question, if Ps3 kept its pace then it would have never crossed 5m

PS4 doesn't have anything that we know of to actually boost it's sales untill 2015 and will be bellow ps3 in a few weeks with all these drops.

"Considering the Wii U being generally unwanted" what an amazing "argument", doesn't it make ps4 even more unwanted? The fact is that wii u has a huge lead that ps4 would take more than a year to cover if wii u were to stop selling right now. and with the game swii u has coming in 2014 vs the ps4's empty lineup, the gap will increase A LOT and will keep that way. and with ps4 doing bad, don't take for granted that those saviour third party games will come to ps4 and not wii u.
