Although I don't trust these numbers personally, certain users wanting to ban this site are a little over dramatic. Plus there are a few users who have yet to enter this thread (I know they will in time) and request a ban as well. Most likely because they're from a certain fanbase.

Regardless of credibility or not, it's not like this site is any better at times. They do adjustments in the millions several times a year. They under track/over track NPD almost every month and the pre-order data...damn, I wouldn't go there.

The fanbase excuse really doesn't cut it in this case, insiderp is the pure definition of a clickbait website and just doesn't deserve any attention.

This news even contradicts itself with another news from the same site. They posted this article before the one in the OP. Even if we for one second assume that in its first 7 days Infamous only sold preorders of the game, which already seems extremely unlikely, then there is still one thing that makes zero sense.

The first article said this:

We have gotten digital pre-order numbers for the game, which is a little over 190,000 units globally

The second article then says this:

** Around 150,000 copies of Infamous : Second Son were sold digitally.

...am I supposed to believe that 40k people just cancelled their digital preorder?
