So, what I'm getting by this is that:

a) JRPGs sell better on Ps3.

b) JRPGs sell great on 360.

I never argued against a) :P

I would not say that is selling great as the top 10 360 vs the top 10 PS3 puts PS3 at already double 360. So with just top 10 in mind 360 has under 33% marketshare, and I think it would get worse if we included every other jrpg.

Instead I would say JRPGs sell ok on 360, but it would still be a risk for developers to put games on it. Examples: Persona, Tales, Atelier, Disgaea

OT: Probably because SE is so broke that they do not want take the risk with Wii U, and for 360 / Xone most sales would come from the west as the 360 is dead in japan and Xone has yet to release.

Seriously, when a game like Catherine manages to be successful on 360, do you think Persona won't?

I agree with Atelier and Disgaea, though. That could be very risky, considering we don't know their forecast on Ps3 and they don't move big numbers.

Vesperia did great on 360 as well. It just did...okay, in Japan, which is exactly what Namco doesn't want. That's why no other Tales has appeared on 360.

And as I said, as console-exclusive JRPG goes, Lost Odyssey is the sixth on the list top-seller. So anything else goes below that. Atelier sells less than Lost Odyssey per entry. I say, again, that JRPGs do great on 360, for what it is. They don't move the numbers they do on Ps3, but that's a point I never argued against.

Not trying to get into this argument, but Catherine wasn't a JRPG.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
