In Skyward Sword's defense, it came out when the Wii wasn't really the hottest thing on the market and it required Wii MotionPlus as well. Let's not also forget that Twilight Princess had the advantage of getting released for two systems ( Wii and GameCube)... Great thread by the way, Salnax! =)
