Well they should be.  This is turning into a near worst case scenario.  If this thing does around the same numbers as the original Xbox it will signal a total failure of one of their most controvertial divisions...

Even without a price cut it's selling in line with the 360, which has sold over 70m, it's far outselling the original Xbox, even after the original Xbox's first $100 price cut. In other words even if they kept it at $500 until much later this year they'd still sell quite well. This price cut is more about wanting to not fall too far behind the PS4 than about desperation, like some people are claiming. 

Actually, isn't it something like half to a milion AHEAD of the 360?  We had a chart on the font page, but that left a week or two before (right before TitanFall Launch.)

And many people were waiting for PS3 announcements before thinking about a Xbox 360.
