Just keep supporting it to plant the seeds of the future - improving miiverse and their online infrastructure, creating more online oriented games, making new exciting franchises, expand their strong loyal fanbase (whatever they can manage to muster up with the wii u), essentially providing a stronger foundation for the next endeavor. Dropping the wii u prematurely is the dumbest move they can make without setting the right stepping stones.
