Ok here we go:

First remember that Nintendos fiscal years end March the 31st of that year, so Fiscal 2003 ended March 31st 2003.
From what I can gather the GB hardware was discontinued in fiscal 2003 or earlier (may have been fiscal 2002, but I can't find the report for that)
Software wise there were still games being shipped to America in fiscal 2004... and in Japan and "other" regions in fiscal 2005.
Here are the totals by region for hardware and software:
| Americas | Others | Japan | Total | |
| Hardware | 44.06 | 42.16 | 32.47 | 118.69 |
| Software | 190.61 | 153.43 | 157.06 | 501.10 |
(numbers in millions of units)
------
Also another little tidbit is that it passed 100 million hardware units during fiscal 2000 (April 1999 - March 2000)
Unfortunately there is very little info regarding game sales all I know is that Tetris was definately a launch title, and the best source you could find for specific games sales is in fact VGC, but only for Japan: http://vgchartz.com/japtotals.php?name=&console=GB&maker=&disp=American+Name&boxartz=3
For lifeftime sales the million selling software table gives the best info, which I think is mostly from manufacturer shipment numbers, but you would have to ask ioi for details on specific games. Also i'm not sure it includes all the games that sold over 1 million.
