I wonder if either of those touting WiiWare over XBLA developmed for Microsoft's service -- or were denined doing so by Microsoft.
I don't think it is right to trash these services per se -- for developers or for posters.
It does appear that many of the touted titles for XBLA recently are remakes -- such as RezHD and Super Puzzle Turbo Fighter HD (I prefer to play games in their original form, so I have those for the DC and Saturn respectively). But there are original games as well.
The WiiWare game lineup resembles that.
In my opinion, this is more about money and medling than anything else.
